Newly Released: “Let’s Come Together”

Featuring
AJAY MATHUR &
PAUL J. MILES

We are so happy to introduce to you our
collaborative anthem of unity, compassion, and respect.

November 2020 [Luzern, Switzerland] – Ajay Mathur and Paul J. Miles – two musicians from two different cultures cooperate to deliver an anthem of unity, compassion and respect – ‘Let’s Come Together’.

These are extraordinary times. Times when we are asking ourselves the hard questions about what is important in life. We are confronted with a pandemic, climate change, unrest and division like never before. ‘Let’s Come Together’ is a song about what really matters. It is about the strength that people find when they focus on what binds them and when they understand that gratitude, compassion, respect, friendship and love are what make us uniquely human and capable of doing great things. Together.

What started as a conversation at the dinner table turned into a song that brings together the unique styles and skills of two very different musicians. The unusual combination of Ajay Mathur, Swiss singer-songwriter who was born and raised in India, and the Afro American blues musician Paul J. Miles, born and raised in the United States, both now residing in Switzerland, is a singular triumph.

Paul J. Miles has won multiple awards in Detroit, Michigan as a singer-songwriter and guitarist. His music appeals to people of all walks of life and his soulful songwriting gets people on their feet everywhere he goes. View “Let’s Come Together” here.

Ajay Mathur is a Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter whose latest album “Little Boat” was voted English Album of the Year 2018 by the German Pop Foundation. Ajay is very popular and receives excellent international reviews.  https://www.ajaymathur.com/

No More Birthdays…

I was motivated to do something for others like myself who are in the midst of this current worldwide pandemic. On the verge of celebrating my March birthday, It seemed like I was channeled to write a new song. In a special moment, the words and music all came together. I recorded the new composition in a single take on my cell phone. Many thousands will not have any more birthdays. For this fact, there is sadness and tears. Peace and Love to the World. We are in this together. Let us all pray. Paul J Miles.

Thanks you,

Love Paulie

Review of “Mountain View” Paul Miles’ Newest Release

MOUNTAIN VIEW CD REVIEW.

I just finished listening to Paul Miles’ latest CD, Mountain View. This is yet another outstanding release by the Detroit, Michigan Bluesman that hits all the high points that I’ve come to expect from Paul.
Paul Miles is an instantly recognizable “Blues” artist who although firmly rooted in the Blues, has influences that are beautifully varied and steeped in a myriad of classic genres of music – many of which are on display here again on his latest CD.
The CD opens with the title track, “Mountain View”, an inspired homage that embraces elements of Paul’s new home and life in Switzerland and then continues with 11 more excellent songs.
“Who Do You Want” is one of those great “cruise-y”, yet laid-back songs that is pure Paul Miles… No one else writes or performs like this and I love it… nice slide, cool chord changes, and killer vibe! “She’s My Wife” has an almost old-school Santana feel, of course, performed solo on an acoustic guitar, as only Paul can deliver. “Butterfly” renders an amazingly intimate lyrical, vocal and instrumental performance that is once again a pure, original Paul Miles instant classic.
The CD closes with “Set Me Free”, a song that is categorically Blues, but with a flavor that is distinctly his own. I love Paul’s message here, which incorporates some of his deep musical influences, including a bit of a Jimi Hendrix vibe in the lyrics, which cut through the BS that sometimes permeates this world, and encouraging us all to be our real, true selves.
I thoroughly enjoyed listening to all the songs on this CD, and can attest that the 12 songs on Mountain View comprise another fine collection by Paul Miles that is worthy of many, many listens!

grammy voting 2017

My Grammy voting is done.

Here is a review for our album “The Positive” which was written by Grammy Winner 2015 Wouter Kellerman. We thank him and his time:

“THE POSITIVE is a refined and accomplished, thoroughly enjoyable record. I love the laidback and smooth MAKE IT A BRIGHTER DAY that had me swaying while it played. CELEBRATE THE INNER YOU is rock music at its finest! So classy! HEAVEN IS HERE is blissfully fresh, and I was moved by the heartfelt narrative and the soulful lyrics of LOOK INSIDE. The wonderful guitar riffs and the polished vocals of MY MISSION ROAD is another gem on this masterpiece!”
